The Chain

Supply chain management. already mention in the previous post before. the factors that driving the supply chain management is visibility , customer behavior, competition and speed.
 visibility is in the terms of the ability to view all areas up and down the supply chain that help them integrate upstream and downstream, with both customer and suppliers. the bullwhip effect occurs when distorted product demand information passes from one entity to the next throughout the supply chain.
 the customer behavior, customer nowadays becoming more demanding, they know exactly what they want and they know when and how they want it.
competition is in the terms of the ability on compete and the strategy on how to compete with other competitors in the industry. 
while speed which the competition should focus on. new forms of serves, telecommunications, wireless applications and software are enabling companies to perform activities that were once never thought possible.
supply chain management success factor are pleasing customer, reduced inventory and human resource requirements to a competitive level, and the essential flow of strategic planning.
